Can You Feel Too Much?

I didn’t know where to put all the feelings in my head so I started to write them down. Nothing feels better than emotionally unloading onto a page. It's not only therapeutic for the person writing, but also the person reading.

Writing is an empathy machine.

If years of theater school taught me anything, besides the lyrics to Hamilton, it's that empathy is one of our greatest weapons. What I thought was only reserved for the stage could also be found on the page.

So I wrote and wrote and didn't stop writing.
And look! I'm still writing and you’re still reading. This is the start of something beautiful, isn’t it?
